Forests Today and Forever Walking Tour

Join OSU Forestry and Natural Resources Extension, Forests Today & Forever, and Bauman Tree Farm for a journey through a locally managed forest to learn about the dynamic nature of how forests grow in Western Oregon. We will walk through different ages of trees to discuss the forest cycle and what keeps trees healthy. This tour will also discuss enhancing forest diversity while uncovering some of the challenges that forest landowners face while managing their property for multiple resources. After the tour join us for a brown bag lunch in the meadow to talk about forest products and recreation.
