Discover Your Watershed – Bird Walk at Thurston Hills Natural Area

Join us for a morning out on the trails with John DeLuca, District Wildlife Biologist for the Bureau of Land Management and birding enthusiast, as we look for native birds at Thurston Hills Natural Area. John will help identify birds spotted on the tour and share other species you might expect to see throughout the year. He will also discuss how our recent oak restoration project with Willamalane helped to increase habitat for birds and what we might expect to see at Thurston Hills going forward. Project managers from the Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council and Willamalane will be present to share how we planned and implemented this restoration project.
